Although we are located in the middle of the woods, you can still find places to shop. The following list will help you find what you need while staying with us at Wildman Adventure Resort.

Grocery Stores

• Piggly Wiggly

  This is the largest grocery store in the area. It is located 30 minutes southeast of the Peshtigo River Outpost in Crivitz.
• Lakewood Super Value

  This grocery store is located in Lakewood, Wisconsin. While options aren’t as vast as they are at Piggly Wiggly, it is located a little closer to the Peshtigo River Outpost.
• Red Pines Amoco
  This gas station is about 4 miles from the Peshtigo River Outpost. Because it is in the middle of the woods, it has more groceries than most gas stations and has many of the basic things you might need in a hurry.

Small Town Shops

Both Lakewood and Crivitz have many small shops including bakeries, coffee shops, candy shops, antique shops, and many small craft and gift shops. There are also many small diners where you can eat and ice cream shops for dessert in both towns. While the rest of your family is enjoying whitewater rafting or rock climbing, you can enjoy your day in one of these small towns.
